Lactation Carrot Cake Porridge
Warm up this winter with a delightfully warm, creamy, spicy bowl of warmth and deliciousness with our Lactation Carrot Cake Porridge using our Salted Caramel Lactation Blends
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 cup scotch Oats
2.5 cups water
4 tbsp salted caramel lactation blend
1 tbsp real maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 carrot, finely grated
small pinch of salt
1 tbsp sultanas
To serve
Yoghurt
Granola to sprinkle
maple syrup
Instructions:
- Finely grate your carrot and place in a saucepan with the oats, water, cinnamon, ginger, salt, maple syrup, sultanas and lactation blend
- Cook over a medium low heat stirring fairly constantly for 10 minutes (this seems like a long time but the creamy consistency is worth it)
- Serve with a dollop of yoghurt and some granola sprinkled on top for crunch. Use coconut yoghurt for a dairy free option.
- Drizzle with maple syrup if you like
