Oaty Afghan Lactation Slice

Ingredients for the Slice:
-3/4 cup flour
-1/2 cup sugar
-120g butter, melted
-1/2 cup Mammas Milk Bar Chocolate lactation blend
-2 tbsp cocoa
-1/2 cup rolled oats
-1.5 cup cornflakes, crushed
-1 egg
Ingredients for the Icing:
-1 cup icing sugar
-1 tbsp cocoa powder
-2 heaped tbsp Mammas Milk Bar Lactation Hot Chocolate
-2 tbsp boiling water
-Chopped walnuts to garnish
Recipe Steps:
- Melt butter in a large bowl, add sugar and whisk together
- Add egg and whisk till well combined
- Add flour, cocoa, Mammas Milk Bar lactation blend and rolled oats. Mix well
- Fold through crushed cornflakes
- Press into a lined sliced tin and bake for 15min at 180C Fan Bake
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool
- To ice, mix together the icing sugar, cocoa and Mammas Milk Bar lactation hot chocolate mix. Add 1 tbsp of boiling water to start then slowly add the second until desired consistency is reached. You want it just spreadable not too funny.
- Sprinkle with walnuts and leave to set before cutting into squares
Sub in an additional tbsp of cocoa powder if you don’t have hot chocolate mix
